Our Process

Our licensed patented solution makes the surface of any material temporarily electrically conductive. This enables the powder paints to adhere to the treated surface prior to and during the curing process. The process can be used for batch processes or incorporated into existing automated coating lines. We use standard electrostatic equipment and readily available off the shelf or custom formulated powders. Conventional, IR, or combination ovens are used in the curing process. Our process is simple, user friendly, environmentally safe, and ensures consistent quality.

The licensed patented process has been used in an industry leading sporting goods manufacturer's production environment for over 7 years. Testing has shown a significant improvement in durability and greater lifespan of the powder coated composites due to the durability and tenacious bond of the powder coat to the fiberglass/plastic substrates. Aluminum components of their product are coated with the same powder coating materials as the composite components. This allows for perfect color/finish matching and ultimate durability of the final product.

InnoVoc Solutions works closely with a number of powder coating manufacturers and custom formulators as needed to match up the correct coating chemistry and cure schedule for heat sensitive composites and plastics. Some of the application projects we are involved in include powder coating fiberglass fenestration profiles, epoxy resin fiberglass spring coating, coating of various nylon materials, various interior low density fiberboard materials, and other engineering grade plastics and composites.
